Welcome To Iskra

Iskra is a little love place where we can get together. Or so the B52s would have us believe. And what can we add to the words of that fine band? Precious little, except to say that Iskra is a little site designed to show the interests and opinions of Tim Fisken, Tom Royston, and anyone else with something interesting to say that we like.

Iskra will evolve to be about the things that we like, or at least the things we like to write about. That's probably going to mean politics, music and comedy. Articles will be added, in sections that seem apropriate at the time, and hopefully the place will grow and grow. As I say, if you have something you wish to say, feel free to send it to us - we're more than happy to put stuff we like on the site (obviously credited to the author), in fact that would make Iskra better - the more stuff we have, the more interesting we'll be.

I hope you noticed, in the above paragraph, that I said `Stuff will be added.' That means, we ain't finished yet. Indeed, what you currently see is but a skeleton of what Iskra will contain in due course. So don't get disheartened if you don't see much to interest you - check back, and you'll see new entries in the news, denoting lovely new articles for you to read.

Anyway, I hope that will suffice to tell you what Iskra is about, and I hope you will enjoy what you find here. With that said, feel free to go back to the front page, and enjoy what you find there.
